The Romantic Fruit - Grape

This is grape tree that I took picture di Selangor in year 2005 when I had farm visit there. There was incharged by a Thailand expertise as manager. It had several variety of grape which it origin was from Thailand too. This farm was around 10 acres.

Do you see that fruit, I wanna to try it if can. It reached it's maturity period. So, what we wait for?

It seems sweet and delicious, ya this fruit was planted in low land in Malaysia. It's true, from Selangor.

Prunning was a process after fruiting and this tree need very good irrigation system and drainage system.

The Most Relaxing Tree - Coconut Tree (MATAG)

This was planted in Kelantan in around 5 acres. It started fruiting when it reach 3-4 years after planting. I love this type of environment where peace and relax taking part in our daily life. Agriculture is so natural and wonderful.

It is it's flower where the local farmer make "NIRA" - a type of nice and sweet drink to try. Don't miss it when you visit to Kelantan and Terengganu in Malaysia.

The coconut tree is full of fruit, about 25-28 fruit in a matured tree. It has 2 function: drink and it's copra for making "SANTAN"

The Bio-Oil Tree - Jathropa carcus

Do you hear this tree before??? This a tree that can produce bio-diesel as a "gold" in next 10 years. It's origin is from Amerika and popular in China, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia. It starts fruiting at 4-6 months after planting. It last for 25 years before replant.

The Beauty Of Agriculture World

When i 1st I start my journey in agriculture is in year 2003 after I taking Bachelor Science(Agribusiness) in UPM Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia. I am totally no experience and family background in agriculture and why i interested in that industry which others said that is a sunset industry when government haven't pushing agriculture sector in year 2003? My interest in agriculture pushing me to be a pioneer in my family who run an agriculture business and involve actively in agriculture sector. I started my dream in agriculture world at MAHA, Mines in 2004 which I meet with one exciting fruit that call DRAGON FRUIT. From there, I start my way in developing entrepreneurship in agriculture sector. As a sales in the beginning, I went through a tough and adventure life. Sales in agriculture sector is not an easy job, rushing here and there. Besides that, I had to study for my second year and final year. I had my sweet memories in UPM and my practical in nursery at Sungai Rambai, Malacca. From there, I learned how to become a strong and educated farmer. I really enjoy farming activities: working under sun and beautiful natural scenery. "Up and Down" is normal for agricultural business that smart farmer call it "cycle of agriculture".

After I graduated from UPM, I work in factory but I felt that not much local company want to employ agriculture graduate. They thought we were "Low Class Graduate" that don't know everything. That was my 1st experience in my 1st job. I felt that there was not my ending lifestyle, I chose to swift my way to agribusiness sector. I joined 2 of my friend to open 4 acres of DRAGON FRUIT FARM in Sg Rambai, Malacca in year 2005 that call THE DRAGON PLANTATION which we used the most pioneer technology that we didn't use concrete bar as our main structure of support. We were the pioneer in Malaysia who use that technology in year 2005.

After a few months later, I had receive a government job (as agriculture officer) in end of year 2005. My family advised me to quit my business and joint civil sector, I decided not to hurt their feeling. I did my business in part-time, whenever I had free time I would go back field to do my favorite job. After 1 year plus working in Malacca, I was transferred to Putrajaya.

However, my spirit in business was never end. I joint my best friend project in Kg Sahom, Jeram, Perak in year 2007 and this time I do natural organic farming in DRAGON FRUIT FARM as NAGAS AHOM PLANTATION. Although, there was not a big project but they seems work very hard to manage the farm. Thank you my friends, you all make me so proud because I had train a QC in factory without knowledge and experience in agriculture become a professional farmer in natural organic farming.

In year 2008, that also a bright year to go when I joint another friend to open up a trainning center and consultancy firm as THE DRAGON CONSULTANCY in Semabok, Malacca. We offer agricultural technical course that co-operated with UPM lecturers to conduct a professional course that train and produce young, educated and experienced farmer to run their business. We are very happy now being as farmer, agricultural officer, consultant and trainer.
